About this listing
Meet the iconic rocks of the Swedish west coast. The infinity pool is always open and the footbath is free to use. If you want to stay over for a night or two, the soft heather covered moor makes for an excellent king-size bed. And if you’re a healthy snacker, you’re in luck! The garden is full of organic raw-food, free for you to pick.
Halland, my pearl. I can never get enough of the sea with its long beaches and sand dunes, be it summer or fall. And don’t get me started on all the different kinds of forests! Beautiful beech forests, enchanting large forests, beach forests – they are all comfortably close. For me, there is no summer until I have cycled or jogged through a forest, and finished by running into the water to cool off.
Sometimes we need to be reminded of how lucky we are to have grown up in Varberg. Going to the beach for a long walk or diving from the cliffs. The sea is close by which means a boat ride or a swim or surfing is always a great option for when you have some free time. Just outside of town you can enjoy some peace and quiet in the Åkulla Beech forests, or take the bike to the charming fishing dock Träslövsläge.

Allemansrätten – or the freedom to roam – is a principle protected by Swedish law that gives all people the right to be free in Swedish nature. In other words, Swedish nature isn’t just a piece of land with trees and lakes and cliffs – it’s a home with all the necessities and amenities that any great home should have. It’s a place where you can eat berries from the ground, sleep under the stars, swim in the lakes and roam freely. To make this home available for everyone, Sweden has listed the entire country on Airbnb.
